PaMPITO / PNZ Branch Collaboration

Over recent months, PaMPITO and local PNZ Branches in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland have collaborated to provide subsidies for Introduction to Plastics short courses in these regions.

The Branches have joined PaMPITO in this initiative because they recognize the importance of Industry training to enhance the knowledge and skills of employees.

Sending employees to the Introduction to Plastics courses is a great way to generate interest and awareness in plastics processing for people who haven’t previously been exposed to “industry” training. Sending people on courses is also a great way to foster and develop newer employees and to recognise and reward employees.

PaMPITO is committed to making the courses a success for the individuals and the organisation. PaMPITO Training Services Managers follow up after the courses, to ensure that all trainees are able to complete assessment activities. They provide coaching and support for individuals needing assistance to relate their learning to their work.

The collaboration between PaMPITO and PNZ Branches has resulted in courses being more affordable and more accessible and has enabled more plastics companies and employees to benefit from Industry training.
