National Certificates in Paint Manufacturing Levels 2 & 3
Who should do this programme? |
People who work for a paint manufacturing plant, particularly those who are involved in mixing raw materials, paint testing and handling hazardous materials would benefit from undertaking this programme. |
What you will learn |
At level 2 you will be introduced to core engineering and paint manufacturing skills, such as safe operation of machinery, mixing, assembling and testing materials. At level 3 these skills are expanded and you will learn about the legislative requirements for handling hazardous substances, you will also develop an understanding of quality management and learn about matching and testing paint colours. |
How to achieve this programme |
These programmes are delivered entirely on-job with the support of a workplace trainer/assessor and with workbooks and assessment materials to guide you through your learning. Typically each programme takes approximately 9 - 12 months to complete.
