As well as supporting companies to develop their employees’ skills, PaMPITO also offers up-skilling opportunities to training provider organisations and individual tutors and trainers.
PaMPITO arranges professional development in the following ways:
Professional Development Programme for Workplace Assessors
PaMPITO’s holds Workplace Assessors conferences every year, and Assessors are invited to attend other professional development events and workshops. Each Assessor is also allocated a Moderator who works with them on a one-on-one basis to develop their assessing skills.

Professional Development Programme for Trainers,
Mentors and Coaches
PaMPITO offers a range of programmes and workshops that Trainers, Mentors and Coaches can access. If you have a responsibility for training in your company, or would like to support others to learn, talk to us about how we can help. There are a range of opportunities that can include:
- nationally recognized qualifications for training
- informal networks and workshops on training, coaching and mentoring
- workshops addressing specific training needs such as how to raise literacy and numeracy skill in your workplace.

Professional Development Programme for Training Providers
PaMPITO offers support and advice on a range of training issues to training provider organisations (such as Polytechnics, Private Training Establishments [PTEs], Colleges and Universities).
We also work closely with a limited number of ‘Partner Providers’. These are training organisations that are accredited to deliver the PaMPITO qualifications. We have an extensive professional development programme for our Partner Providers that consists of a series of meetings and workshops throughout the year. We offer ongoing support and up-skilling for their tutors and teaching staff and we work together to ensure a rigorous evaluation process for the courses and training options that our partners provide. |
