GEN10 Project Management:      3 day short course         9 & 23 June and 23 July at MIT

This course teaches participants the skills to plan, manage and review projects. It includes identifying and scoping the necessary resource requirements, realistic project costings, timeframes and evaluation techniques for measuring the project’s effectiveness

Unit Standards:          7454  

Who should attend:   Employees who take on responsibility for managing and ensuring the successful implementation of projects.



GEN 06 Quality Management:    13 week night class starting                7 June at MIT

This course covers key quality management systems in the workplace. It provides an overview of quality principles, processes and commonly used quality management tools. Participants will set up their own workplace projects.

Unit Standards:         8085, 8087, 8081, 8077                    

Who should attend:    Employees in QA, QC or team leader positions and those who have responsibility for ensuring quality requirements are met.



GEN01 Work and Study Skills:           3 day short course                10 – 12 June at MIT

This is an introductory course that provides employees with time management skills.

Unit Standards:        12349, 1978, 4248, 4249, 7117, 7118

Who should attend:   Employees who have enrolled in a study programme at level 1 or 2, or any new employees who have joined your company



GMP01    Intro to Pharmaceutical & Allied Products Manufacturing & GMP
3 x 2 day short courses       June 10-11,     June 12-13,       June 17-18

This is an introductory course on Good Manufacturing Practices in NZ. It provides participants with an understanding of the principles of GMP, product quality, ensuring product safety, the code of ethics and the regulatory requirements to produce pharmaceutical and allied products.

Unit Standards:            21071, 21074, 21365, 21367, 21072

Who should attend:    Any employee involved in the manufacture of pharmaceutical and allied products.



ENG08    Basic Machine Maintenance      4 day short course         10 – 13 June at MIT

This is a a hands-on course that covers the key techniques required for the maintenance of production machinery, including: safe working practices, dismantling, cleaning and replacing parts as well as the appropriate disposal of cleaning agents. This course is intended to provide knowledge for employees to work under supervision.

Unit Standards:           2399, 2400, 2402, 2404 

Who should attend:   Any Employees who have responsibility for cleaning and/or maintaining production machinery.
